Frequently asked questions
A standard driving lesson with us lasts 45 minutes, and the lesson price is displayed per 45 minutes. However, we always recommend taking lessons of 1.5 hours, as this has proven to be the most effective lesson duration, allowing you to learn the most. Therefore, we always try to schedule lessons of 1.5 hours. But ultimately, you decide how long you want your driving lesson to be.
You can start taking driving lessons from the age of 16.5. You can even pass your theory exam from the age of 16. From the age of 17, it is possible to obtain a driver's license for a car because you are allowed to take the practical exam from this age. Until your 18th birthday, you can only drive under the supervision of a coach with a supervisor pass.
The duration of a driving course varies from person to person. In principle, we can plan your entire driving course within 12 weeks, but this depends on several factors. For example, you must already have your theory certificate and be sufficiently available to take driving lessons.
Additionally, we have no control over the availability of practical exams at the CBR, and unfortunately, there are still significant waiting times (currently around 15 to 20 weeks). The advice? Sign up for driving lessons early, so we can reserve your exam well in advance.
Yes, this is definitely possible. The exam can be booked in English, but you may encounter Dutch words. These words are not translated. Find the list of terms that are not translated here.
Yes, this trial lesson is completely free. We prefer to pick you up from a train station in Twente. If you'd rather be picked up from your home or another location, there’s a €25 fee. If you decide to get your driver’s license with us, you’ll get the €25 back. Of course, we expect you to be there if you schedule a trial lesson. Can’t make it after all? Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance — otherwise, you’ll still be charged €25.
